Lincoln County residents enjoy four distinct seasons. Spring temperatures range from 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, while summer temperatures can exceed 90 degrees. Autumn is characterized by long periods of mild, sunny weather. Winters are generally short and mild, with occasional light snowfall; daytime temperatures are almost always above freezing even during the coldest weather. Humidity is moderate and the average annual rainfall is 48 to 54 inches. The growing season is 210 to 240 days.
